Home cleaning is a challenge to many working mothers. Fret not! Why not try to spread out your cleaning tasks over several sections in the house. If you do not know where to begin, here is a house cleaning checklist with the best cleaning solution for you.
Living Room and Bedroom
• Throw away all the unused or broken items, and donate old clothing, toys or anything that are still usable.
• Wipe every decorative item as well as all flat surfaces such as shelves, tables, cupboards and dressing table with a damp cloth.
• Clean the ceiling fans and the switch board with a damp cloth (make sure to wring out the water thoroughly).
• Vacuum the carpets, sofas, rug and every nook and corner of the upholsteries.
• Sweep and mop the floor until it is squeaky clean.
• Clean the windows and mirrors and keep the dressing table uncluttered by discarding unnecessary items.
• Make the beds and change the bed sheets, bed covers, cushion covers, pillow and bolster cases regularly.

Kitchen

• Appliances and cutleries need to be cleaned after every use and wiped dry before storing in designated compartments.
• Mop the floor after cooking.
• Empty the trash and wash the dustbin.
• Wipe the dining table and chairs.
Bathroom
• Wash and disinfect the floor, sink, wall tiles, toilet bowls (inside, outside, at the rim and at the base), shower and bathtub until they are sparkling clean. Keep the bathroom as dry as possible.
